Textiles

I've been going to a weekly class in paper and textiles at MAC and we've covered so much:

BATIK (this isnt finished in this picture - i have only got as far as putting the first layer of wax on)

SCREEN PRINTING - I'm not particularly pleased with this as I intended this as a tester to get to grips with the technique however i didnt get 'round to producing another one.

FELTING

Stamping

I bought these stamps months ago but i didn't get 'round to using them until recently. Handy little cards that aren't for a specific occasion.

Medallion Stamping

Admittedly I've been lazy and I haven't taken part in any challenges for nearly a month - however i have spent my time productively - I have become addicted to online craft shopping. We typically gather around the computer at work and comment on how lovely everything would look if only we had it.
Anyway, medallion stamping caught my eye whilst browsing the other day and so after being shown how to do it by Sharon, I made my first stamped card for two of my friends who are moving away.

Monogrammatic

I've taken part in the daring card-makers mid week challenge, despite having never really made a card before. A craft obsession has spread through the office thanks to Sharon, our resident card-making veteran (http://glitterangel.typepad.com/glitterangel_blog/). At this stage, my attempts are limited to paper, scissors, glue and the work photocopier :)

Anyway, here's the remit:

"Initials are BIG news at the moment, so here's your chance to make your mark with a monogram themed card. It can be any letter you like, made in any way - just so long as it's Big and Juicy!"
